Kelly Ames & Liz Alessi

Kelly Ames is am a multi-media artist working full time to create original creations from her White Hall, MD studio.  She make art that is saturated with color, pattern, and creative design detail. Over the years, she has made and sold her art at festivals and special events, in retail stores and galleries and on the internet.  Kelly is an enthusiastic and extremely hard working artist who is completely dedicated to her craft. She is a well rounded in the art of business and in the art of life. She strives to be detail oriented and intelligent about her artistic pursuits and she works tenaciously to timely complete any project she take on.  Most importantly, she is centered, confident, honest and perpetually grateful for this life and it shows in her art. Kelly creates art that is fun, fabulous, and funky and she does so in a prolific manner that reflects her zeal for life and all that it has to offer.

Local artist Liz Alessi will show (mostly) new work in the black room of the AOA Gallery starting April 4th. This collection will feature both fiber art pieces and small sculptures created mostly from found objects.

Born and raised in Baltimore Liz graduated from MICA with a Bachelor's Degree in Photography. With an extreme love for working with her hands she has expanded over the years into sculpture, free motion embroidery and anything else that doesn't have a lot of rules.
